WWE just dropped a tribute video for AEW’s PAC. The video contained multiple stars sharing their thoughts and feelings towards the AEW star. PAC’s sudden passing took the wrestling world by storm, and the video by WWE was really heartfelt.
Kevin Owens recalled what he told Pac after their first match: “You’re like the best wrestler I’ve ever seen and ever worked with.” Owens also praised Pac’s abilities as a performer, saying, “As a performer, there’s nothing at all that he couldn’t do better than anyone else.” Despite his remarkable talent, Pac was also praised for remaining humble and never carrying himself as though he was the best.
Several tributes highlighted Pac’s generosity toward his fellow wrestlers. Big Cass recalled Pac telling him, “Let’s highlight you, big man. Let’s do everything you want to do. Let’s make sure we shine you tonight.” Tyson Kidd similarly praised Pac’s ability to elevate those around him, saying, “The reason why everybody had such great matches with Ben was because Ben was in them.”
Outside the wrestling ring, Pac was remembered as a genuine, kind and incredibly funny person. Becky Lynch said, “He didn’t have to try to be anything because he just was,” while Kidd described him as “the best of us.” His love for his wife, Natalie, and his family was also a recurring theme, with friends remembering how happy he was whenever he spoke about returning home to Newcastle.
Sami Zayn struggled to put their relationship and grief into words before ultimately saying, “We were so lucky. We had the best life, man, and we got to share it together.”
Cody Rhodes summarized Pac’s legacy by saying, “I hope they can discover the magic of what you did outside the ring, which was just maintain your identity and be a good man.”
