If there is one thing that will never change about me, it’s my love for a white blouse. Now I’ve tried my best to calm it down over the years, bypassing so many white tops that I know I would have loved. Plus having a pre-loved shop that forces you to look at what you’ve sold (e.g. white tops) helps me make edits in real time. But this top I couldn’t walk by without bringing her home. Like a cat in the shelter, she belonged at home.
Sometimes I don’t know if an outfit works until we shoot it. Some outfits are just theory and trust me, those you will never see. You see with this outfit, I wasn’t sure if the flowy, untucked version of this top would work but I think it got along just fine with my wide-leg brown pants. It’s weird to me as I don’t typically wear shirts un-tucked; there is usually at least a half-tuck somewhere. Leaving a shirt undone just xi wrong. But because this gauzy shirt is loose and has best flow and shape, it all worked out in the end. Even if it was wrong, it felt right.
If you too love a romantic blouse in the fall, I’ve rounded up some from Zara here!
