Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: October 17th, 2026
1) Vikings Injury Focus Shifts to 1 New Player: Going into Week 5, the Vikings wanted the passing attack to be the Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson show. The WR1 held up his end of the bargain. The TE1 wasn’t able to do so given that he suffered a concussion early on. The initial outlook is promising, suggesting he’ll be back for Week 7.

2) A Young Vikings Skill Guy Gets Stolen Away: Part of the risk with keeping a talent on the practice squad is that the talent can get stolen away. Minnesota has seen that exact outcome arrive. Does Minnesota now make a move to replace him?
3) Former Vikings Quarterback Snags a Contract in Tinseltown: He’s a somewhat infamous person in the Twin Cities due to the reason for him being cut alongside the boasting while beating the Vikings. Regardless, Jake Browning is now putting in work with the Chargers.

4) Lost in the Shuffle, the Vikings Officially Re-Added a Pair of Players: Some much-needed reinforcements arrived in the form of TE Ben Yurosek alongside iOL Michael Jurgens. Both are now on the 53-man roster to support achy roster spots.
5) Former Vikings Player Knocked Out for Remainder of 2026: He’s a good ball player. Losing the remainder of the season due to a torn Achilles is a really difficult development given his age. Hopefully the one known as “Gravedigger” can get back for 2027.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
