Kevin Nash has given a clear answer to one of wrestling’s most debated questions – does Roman Reigns belong in the GOAT debate?
During a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, a fan asked whether Reigns deserves GOAT status, arguing that he received a bigger push than Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Jon Moxley.
Nash pushed back on that framing, pointing to Reigns’ overall marketability. He said that Reigns has a more marketable look than the other three, a great voice, and checks every box when he is in shape.
Host Sean Oliver then asked whether Nash, if he were head of creative, would give Reigns the baton to carry the company. Nash did not hesitate, answering yes and adding that he is a fan of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Nash understands the pressure of being positioned as a company’s top star from his own time in WWE and WCW. Reigns has long faced questions over whether WWE made him a star or whether he earned the investment, but the company continues to place him in major roles.
