The WNBA Finals are about to begin, and the Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty series featured lots of intense moments that continue to pop up in conversations. Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham is weighing in on one of the more high-profile moments of the series, which ended with the Dream sweeping the Liberty in three games.
On the latest episode of the “No Hesitation Show” with Cunningham and Drew Hanlen, the two talked about a moment involving Angel Reese during the Liberty series. Cunningham discussed Reese’s non-technical foul, as well as another double technical. She talked about the play when Reese ran down the court to confront Sabrina Ionescu and get in her ear.
While Cunningham applauded Reese for supporting her teammates, she also gave a blunt take on whether the incident should have resulted in a technical.
