Gaby Scelzo of Gaby Cakes is responsible for the cakes they give SNL hosts, and you’ve probably DM’ed her cakes to someone on Instagram, hoping that maybe, just maybe, they’ll order one for your birthday. When they come through, because they love you enough to spend $220+ on dessert, steer them in the direction of anything with the chocolate chip cookie dough frosting on it. It tastes like frosting and Toll House cookie dough had a perfectly-salted baby, and we’d put it on every cake going forward if we could. Gaby recommends placing an order at least 10 days in advance, but might make an exception if she’s got the time.
